Dr. Smith joined Jennie Stuart in 2023 after completing her Ob/Gyn residency in Pensacola, Florida. As a Kentucky native herself who was born and raised in Glasgow, she desired to return to her home state to start practicing in a rural community. Dr. Smith is passionate about providing quality individualistic care and being a meaningful presence in a woman’s life. She will walk each patient through prenatal care, miscarriages, infertility, preventative care, and gynecological issues alike. Dr. Smith is trained and certified to use the DaVinci robotic system to provide minimally invasive hysterectomies. She can also use the robotic system for the treatment of other gynecological issues such as the removal of endometriosis, fibroids, and ovarian cysts. Dr. Smith is also passionate about obstetrics, decreasing maternal and fetal complications, and providing support to mothers in the postpartum period.
She enjoys traveling, going to concerts, spending time with her family and friends, and being involved in her local church.
