Provider Information

Dr. Robbe brings experience to the people of Western Kentucky and Tennessee from his work with the St. Louis Cardinals, Rams and Blues, as well as orthopaedic experience during multiple combat tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo. He is especially interested in helping to advance minimally invasive surgical techniques that help patients return to their daily activities as quickly as possible.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he moved with his family to Hopkinsville, Kentucky, in 2004 to join Western Kentucky Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. In 2006, he was named one of the 2006 National Physicians Advisory Board Doctors of the Year and joined Jennie Stuart Medical Group in 2014.

While attending the University of Georgia, Dr. Robbe was a member of the football and track teams, and recognized as a National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholar Athlete. He also worked as a Campus Minister.

Dr. Robbe, graduated from the Medical College in Georgia in 1998 with honors in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Kentucky, and then continued his training with a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine.

He holds board certifications in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

Dr. Robbe enjoys serving the Orthopaedic needs of our community and is especially interested in helping to advance techniques for minimally invasive procedures that help patients return to their activities of daily living as quickly as possible. He continues to be passionate about Sports Medicine and keeping athletes healthy, volunteering as a coach and leader for the local YMCA and Boys and Girls Clubs athletics programs. His commitment to service has extended to involvement with several local organization including, Challenge House, Alpha Alternative, Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.

COL Robbe has served our country and our soldiers on multiple occasions since moving to Hopkinsville, with further combat tours to Kosovo and Iraq as a member of the US Army Reserve Medical Corps, and served as a Lay Leader for the Chaplain Corps. He also served on a Medical Mission Trip to Zambia, Africa with CURE International in October 2011.
